As you can tell from this list and my blog, nothing on this Shelby has been given anything less than full attention to performing and looking as new (or better).  #229 currently has 47,8XX miles.  There are few Shelby's that are as significant as the Hertz Shelby Mustangs.  The '66 cars saved the company and ensured that the Shelby Mustang program would go past 1965.  These 40th anniversary cars rebooted the whole Shelby Mustang franchise and brought Shelby back to Ford.

#229 comes with full documentation including 2 binders full of receipts and paperwork.  You may also visit the blog that was created to document #229 at http://shelbygth.wordpress.com/ where you will find more information about this Shelby. #229 in located in Minneapolis, MN.

Please contact Troy via email  (troy at customshowboards dot com) or call (763) 545-2232 for further inquiries. Please, serious buyers only.  I realize this isn't the cheapest Hertz available by far, but it's worth every penny to the discerning enthusiast who understands what it takes to get a car to this level.  Bargain hunters and low ballers need not waste my time.

The photos below show the clarity of the reflections in the new paint void of factory orange peel.  Only a professional show quality complete repaint and a painstaking wet sanding and buffing process can acheive this effect (especially with black).
